CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR - Childbirth Education / Newborn Care
Laura has been teaching for well over a decade in a variety of settings. First being trained as a Bradley Natural Childbirth educator in 2008, and more recently, completing the BACE Childbirth Educator training in 2020. She is also trained as a birth doula through DONA International. Her goal is to help parents have positive birth experiences and support low-intervention births. She encourages this by helping parents feel prepared, educated, and empowered, capable of working with their bodies and advocating for themselves toward a satisfying birth outcome. She began her journey into birth work after the birth of her third child when she discovered the crucial role that childbirth education plays in helping to achieve a satisfying and positive birth experience.
